1. The lightning arrester is connected in series between the signal channel and the protected equipment.
2. Reliably connect the lightning arrester to the ground wire voltage equalizing ring of the lightning protection system. The length of the ground wire should be less than 0.5m.
3. Lightning arresters require no special maintenance. When the system fails and the lightning arrester is suspected, the lightning arrester can be removed and then checked. If the system returns to normal after returning to the state before use, it means that the lightning arrester has been damaged and the lightning arrester should be replaced.
