The RS485 communication method is often used between the collector and the smart meter, or between the collector and the concentrator. Due to the complex and uncontrollable electromagnetic environment, the RS485 chip is often impacted by surges and static electricity, causing damage to the system or components.
Yint Electronics recommends the RS485 communication port and uses ESDSM712 electrostatic protection device.
