Common mode diode protection (referring to the protection of equipment within 50 meters of the video coaxial cable from high-voltage lines or conductive media susceptible to direct lightning strikes)
1. GDT is Intex's ceramic gas discharge tube, which provides common-mode protection to ensure the protection of the front-end against instantaneous high voltage. It can handle the high surge voltage to about 90V, which is beneficial to the second processing.
Optional plug-in: 2RX090L-8, which has an action speed of P seconds, action voltage: 72V~108V, and the inter-stage capacitance is less than 1PF (at 1MHZ)
Optional chip: SMD1812-091, which has an action speed of P seconds and an action voltage of : 63V~117V, the inter-stage capacitance is less than 1PF (under 1MHZ).
2. PPTC refers to the self-restoring fuse provided by Yint Electronics. It can effectively prevent the induced current caused by lightning strikes or the current abnormality caused by the interface plugging process, and isolate and protect the back end. After the current abnormality ends, the self-restoring fuse will Return to normal work. The important point is that it can coordinate the action time of the first-stage gas discharge tube and the second-stage TVS, also known as: coupling protection.
The general selection is: SMD1206-012L (60V 125mA Case: 1206 patch). Its internal resistance range is: 1.5~3.6Ω. If there is a special video driver chip, the influence of internal resistance must be considered.
3. Thristor is a fine protection. It completes secondary processing of the surge that has not been processed by the previous stage, so that the residual surge voltage is small enough to protect related circuits such as video decoding.
