Diodes
Diodes are made of two types of semiconductor materials with different characteristics. One is a P-type semiconductor (pure silicon crystal doped with trivalent elements (such as boron)), also known as a hole semiconductor. The other is an N-type semiconductor (a pentavalent element (such as phosphorus) is doped into pure silicon crystal, also called an electronic semiconductor.
