The above application circuit using a constant current source power supply, most constant current circuits on the market only over-voltage protection, short-circuit protection, over-temperature protection, and there is no open-circuit protection, when one of the LED string of open-circuit failure, the circuit will generate surge voltages, the use of shunt capacitors will soon be short-circuited, which will blow up capacitors caused by fires and other unexpected failure, a serious life-threatening hazards.
