The body of the varistor is a matrix structure composed of oxide particles. The grain boundary between the particles is similar to the electrical features of the bidirectional PN junction. When the voltage is low, these grain boundaries are in a high impedance state, when the voltage is high, they turn into the breakdown state. MOV is a nonlinear device.


Application

Suppresses surge current fromthe mainpower supply of consumer electronics and industrial electronicequipment.

KH enhanced type (complete machine standard)

1.Comply with the overall machine standard: IEC61000-4-5, GBT17626.5 "Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing and Measurement Technology Surge (Impact) Immunity Test", using 4 phase angles of AC voltage, each phase angle is positive or negative 5 impacts each, totaling 40 impacts;

5D:1KV/0.5KA 7D:2KV/1KA

10D:4KV/2KA 14D:6KV/3KA

20D:10KV/5KA

3. Voltage specification: V1mA≥430V, that is, 431 and above specifications;

4. Combined wave: open circuit is voltage wave 1.2/50μs, short circuit is current wave 8/20μs, superimposed AC voltage


KX customized

1. Lightning strike requirements are higher than KH level, such as

A. The peak value of one impact (Imax) is required to be higher than KH. For example: 14D product requires Imax≥10KA

B. The number of surge impacts (In) requires a large number of impacts. For example: 14D product requires 6KV/3KA combined wave impacts 100 times, 500 times...

2. Miniaturization requirements: 10D replaces 14D, 14D replaces 20D, 20D replaces 32D... Suitable for SPD product applications
