Priority order for rectifying radiation emissions (REs) from data center switches: First priority is the clock circuit. Add a 22Ω resistor or a 30Ω @ 100MHz MOSFET (PBZ1005B-300Z0T) in series with the 125MHz/156.25MHz clock output to slow down the edge rate, reducing it by 8-15dB. Second priority is the interface circuit. Add a 90Ω common-mode inductor (CMZ2012A-900T) to the Ethernet/USB 3.0 ports, reducing it by 6-12dB. Third priority is the power supply circuit. Add an RC snubber (10Ω + 470pF) to the DC-DC switching node. Fourth priority is the shielding grounding. Increase the compression of conductive foam by 30%. Actual testing shows that rectifying according to this priority usually reduces 6-10dB emissions to within acceptable limits in 2-3 rounds, with an average cost of <8 RMB.
