
PLC (Power Line Communication) IoT gateways and power line carrier communication modules serve as key bridges between industrial devices and cloud/edge systems, enabling robust data exchange over existing power infrastructure. However, power lines and industrial environments expose broadband communication interfaces to transient surges, electrostatic discharge (ESD) events, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) from motors, switching operations and heavy machinery. YINT Electronics’ protection architecture integrates high-energy gas discharge tubes (GDT) to divert surge energy, TVS transient suppressors to clamp fast transients, ultra-low capacitance ESD arrays to protect sensitive IoT data and control lines, and EMI filters such as common-mode chokes to suppress high-frequency noise, ensuring reliable and stable PLC data transmission for industrial IoT communication systems.
