Pulsating pulse oximeters non-invasively monitor arterial oxygen saturation by transmitting red and infrared light through tissue. Their sensitive photodiode (PD) front-end is extremely vulnerable to electrical noise, electrostatic discharge (ESD), and transient surges due to direct skin contact and external EMI. YINT’s protection solutions use ultra-low capacitance ESD arrays to protect photodiode inputs without degrading signal integrity, high-power TVS diodes for transient suppression and common-mode EMI chokes to suppress conducted noise for stable and accurate SpO₂ measurements even in complex environments.
