AC charging (pile) station

AC charging stations for electric vehicles are directly connected to the power grid and face electrical hazards such as transient surges caused by grid fluctuations, lightning-induced overvoltage, electrostatic discharge (ESD) during frequent plug/unplug operations, and conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) from adjacent equipment. YINT Electronics’ AC charging station protection solution integrates gas discharge tubes (GDT) for high-energy surge diversion, MOV surge arresters to absorb mains transients, TVS transient suppressors for fast clamping of voltage spikes, and ultra-low capacitance ESD protection arrays to safeguard communication and control lines. This multi-layered protection ensures safe and reliable operation of EV AC chargers even under harsh electrical environments.
