When matching common-mode inductors for DTU power applications, grid frequency, carrier noise, and current capacity must be considered. For 50Hz power frequency environments, high-permeability ferrite cores (such as PC40) should be selected, with inductance values of 50-200μH and rated current 1.5 times greater than the actual current, such as CML4532A-510T (51μH, 6A). For carrier noise (such as PLC frequency bands), the inductor impedance must be greater than 100Ω at 100-500kHz. During installation, the common-mode inductor should be placed close to the power input, with short and straight leads to avoid the influence of parasitic capacitance. Frequency characteristics should be tested using an impedance analyzer; matching can reduce conducted interference by 25dB, meeting EMC standards for power equipment.
