The design of DTU RF circuit shielding must ensure shielding integrity and proper grounding. Use a metal shield (such as galvanized steel sheet) with a thickness of 0.2mm or more. Connect the shield to the PCB ground using multiple screws with a spacing of less than λ/10 (approximately 15mm). Seal any openings in the shield (such as antenna interfaces) with EMI gaskets. Ensure a complete ground plane is laid beneath the RF circuitry. Shielding effectiveness testing should demonstrate a shielding effectiveness greater than 60dB in the 30MHz-1GHz range. Good shielding reduces external radiation and interference from the RF circuitry.
