How to ensure EMC compatibility when edge boxes and servo drives coexist?

When the edge computing box and servo drive share a control cabinet, the servo's high-frequency PWM and braking energy feedback will interfere with the edge box. To achieve EMC compatibility, the following measures are required:

1. Power distribution: Use star power supply with separate incoming lines and filters. Use a CMZ3225A-501T common-mode inductor on the edge box side.

2. Signal lines are fully shielded, and the shielding layer is connected to the cabinet at 360°. Add TVS ESDSM712 to the edge box interface.

3. The grounding wires of the two are connected separately to the grounding copper busbar to avoid sharing ground impedance.

4. Physical isolation: Maintain a distance >30cm. If isolation is not possible, add a partition for shielding.

5. Add a ferrite core to the servo drive output UVW lines, and keep the edge box away from the power lines.

After these modifications, the edge box and the 2kW servo drive in the same cabinet operate stably without resetting.
