
Ensuring the electrical continuity of the shielding layer in a frequency converter system is a prerequisite for ensuring its shielding effectiveness. Shielding continuity refers to maintaining a low-impedance electrical connection throughout the entire path from the cable shielding layer to the connector and then to the equipment housing. Ensuring this continuity includes: selecting shielded cables with high overall braided coverage; using professional shielding termination tools and methods, such as shielding clips, crimped shielding terminals, or soldered sleeves, to firmly fix the shielding layer to the connector back shell or grounding terminal, achieving a 360-degree connection; the connector itself should be metal-shielded, with its shell and equipment panel connected to achieve low-impedance mounting via conductive gaskets or spring sheets; within the cabinet, shielded cable connections between different devices should be interconnected using shielded connectors to maintain uninterrupted shielding. For shielding layers requiring grounding, the contact surface at the grounding point should be cleaned, and toothed washers should be used to ensure contact pressure. Regularly inspect shielding connection points for looseness, oxidation, or corrosion.
