To resolve the mutual interference between the encoder interface and pulse output port within the motion controller MC, spatial and electrical isolation is required. Physically separate them in the layout, placing them in different areas of the PCB. Provide them with independent power supplies, or isolate them from a common power supply via ferrite beads. The ground plane can be segmented: encoder ground (analog ground) and pulse drive ground (digital ground), with a single-point connection between the two. Increase the spacing between the two types of traces during signal routing to avoid long parallel traces.

Connect a ferrite bead in series at the pulse drive output to suppress its switching noise coupling to the encoder circuit through power and ground. The encoder signal lines use a shielding layer and are internally grounded at a single point. In software, the encoder sampling time and pulse output update time can be staggered. Through testing, monitor the noise level and counting stability of the encoder signal during pulse output action to locate coupling paths and strengthen isolation or filtering accordingly. For high-end applications, consider making the encoder module and pulse drive module independent boards and connecting them via a backplane.
