The shielding of the PAC panel and gaps of the intelligent controller must ensure electrical continuity. The junction between the panel and the housing is filled with EMI conductive gaskets (such as metal mesh gaskets or conductive rubber), with the gasket thickness chosen to ensure compression between 30% and 70%. Gaps should be as short as possible; if long gaps are present, they should be secured in sections with multiple screws, with a screw spacing less than λ/20 (less than 15mm at 1GHz).
For detachable panels, spring contacts or conductive hinges should be used for multi-point contact. The display window on the panel should be shielded with transparent conductive film (ITO) or metal mesh and electrically connected to the panel frame. After treatment, the contact resistance should be less than 10mΩ using the four-terminal method, and the transfer impedance should be measured using a network analyzer. After optimization, the shielding effectiveness of the panel gaps at 1GHz is greater than 30dB, meeting the shielding effectiveness test requirements of IEC61000-5-7.
