To ensure the EMC performance of the intelligent controller PAC under wide temperature (-40°C to 85°C) and high humidity (95%RH) conditions, suitable components and materials must be selected. EMC components such as common-mode inductors (CMZ series) and ferrite beads (PBZ series) must have low temperature coefficients, with performance variations within ±10%. The conductive pads should be made of corrosion-resistant materials (such as nickel-plated beryllium copper).
The PCB surface should be coated with conformal coating, but care should be taken not to affect the performance of the filter capacitors. During testing, EMC testing must be conducted in a high and low temperature chamber to ensure that standards are met even under extreme environments. The design margin should be increased, such as increasing the filter attenuation margin by 3dB. Through design and testing, the PAC can operate stably in harsh environments and meet the requirements of industrial applications.
