How can the EMC limits of a power line carrier PLC be met?

EMC limits for power line carrier PLCs must be controlled from the design stage. Conducted emission limits refer to GB 9254 Class B, with an average limit of 56-60 dBμV and a quasi-peak limit of 66-70 dBμV in the 150kHz-30MHz frequency band. During design, deploy high-performance EMI filters, such as CML4532A-510T, and safety capacitors at the power line inlet. Radiated emission limits are 30-40 dBμV/m in the 30MHz-1GHz frequency band, measured at a distance of 10m. Suppress radiation through shielding housings and filtered connectors. Pre-testing uses an EMI receiver, optimizing the design margin to greater than 6dB. Compliance with these limits allows for certification testing and legal sale of the product.
