The selection of shielding components for power line carrier PLC interfaces must be based on the frequency range, shielding effectiveness, and installation method. The frequency range determines the shielding material: high-permeability materials (such as permalloy) are used for low frequencies (<30MHz), and high-conductivity materials (such as copper) are used for high frequencies (>30MHz). Shielding effectiveness is typically greater than 60dB, depending on testing standards. Installation methods include springs, gaskets, and shielding clips, selected according to the interface shape. Compression ratio, contact resistance, and corrosion resistance are considered during selection. Performance is verified using a shielding effectiveness testing system. Correct selection ensures electromagnetic sealing at the interface and reduces leakage.
