How to handle EMC issues when a power line carrier PLC and a frequency converter are on the same line?

Addressing EMC issues caused by the PLC and frequency converter sharing a common line requires isolation, filtering, and frequency band separation. Install a dv/dt filter or sine wave filter on the frequency converter output side to reduce harmonics. The PLC carrier frequency should avoid the frequency converter's switching frequency and its harmonics; for example, if the frequency converter's switching frequency is 8kHz, choose a carrier frequency of 132kHz. Use an isolation transformer to couple the PLC signal. Deploy a common-mode inductor CML4532A-510T and an X capacitor (0.47μF) at the common-line point. Analyze common-line interference through simulation and optimize filter parameters. In actual testing, the PLC communication bit error rate should be below 10^-5 when the frequency converter is running at full load. Addressing common-line EMC issues ensures reliable system operation in motor control applications.
