When handling gap shielding in power line carrier PLC panels, electrical continuity must be ensured. Use conductive pads, such as wire mesh pads or conductive foam, to fill the gaps with a compression of 30%-50%. Remove paint from the panel-housing contact surface to expose the metal substrate, or apply a conductive paint coating. Screw spacing should be less than λ/20 (λ is the highest frequency wavelength), typically less than 5cm, ensuring a tight connection. For the display window, use a transparent conductive film (such as ITO) or wire mesh shielded glass. During testing, use a scanning gun to measure the field strength at the gap; it should be less than the limit by 10dB. Gap treatment can improve shielding effectiveness by 20dB and reduce radiation leakage.
