To ensure EMC performance of power line carrier PLCs in high and low temperature environments, wide-temperature-range components and optimized thermal design are required. Component selection: The common-mode inductor CML4532A-510T uses a wide-temperature-range magnetic core (-40℃~125℃), and the capacitor uses X7R or C0G dielectric. The PCB board material uses a high Tg value (e.g., Tg170) to reduce thermal deformation. Thermal design: Reasonable placement of heat-generating components and enhanced heat dissipation. High and low temperature cycling tests (-40℃~85℃) verify EMC performance stability. During testing, radiated emission tests are performed at extreme temperatures, and the system should meet standard limits. Ensuring high and low temperature EMC makes the system suitable for harsh environments such as outdoor and automotive applications.
