The dry contact signal EMC is guaranteed by hardware protection and filtering. A 1kΩ current-limiting resistor is connected in series at the input, and a bidirectional ESD protection device (5V0D8B) is connected in parallel. Shielded twisted-pair cable is used for the signal lines, with the shield grounded at a single point. PCB layout: The dry contact input circuit is kept away from noise sources. Optical isolation, such as TLP281, is used. On the software side, a debouncing algorithm is added. With these guarantees, the dry contact signal can pass IEC 61000-4-2 8kV ESD and IEC 61000-4-4 2kV EFT tests.
