This large-scale system requires a systems engineering approach to EMC. The main power supply for all servo/stepper drivers should be equipped with an industrial-grade active or passive filter. Each driver's power input should also have a local ferrite bead/capacitor filter. All encoder and limit switch signal lines should use shielded twisted-pair cable. Industrial PCs, switches, and other IT equipment should use high-quality power supplies, and network cables should use shielded twisted-pair (STP) cables and be properly grounded. The entire system cabinet and metal structure should be uniformly grounded to achieve equipotential bonding. Motor power cables, control cables, and communication cables should be laid in separate channels to reduce coupling. The system software must have robust error detection and recovery mechanisms.
