The EMC of a fundus camera hinges on the flash circuit. The flash's charging circuit should employ a soft-start design, the trigger circuit (e.g., trigger transformer) should be well-shielded, and coaxial cables should be used for the trigger signal lines. The camera module's power supply should be independent and heavily filtered; its data lines (e.g., LVDS) should use shielded differential lines, and a common-mode inductor (CML series) should be placed at the receiver. The clock signal for the digital circuitry (FPGA/CPU) on the image processing board should be properly shielded. The entire metal casing should be grounded, and internal localized metal partitions can be considered for isolation between the flash and camera components.
