EMC design for atomizers varies depending on the type. For small compressor-type atomizers, a ferrite bead can be fitted to the power cord, and a small capacitor can be connected in parallel across the motor. For ultrasonic piezoelectric transducers, the drive circuit (oscillator) should have a stable operating frequency, a good output matching network, and a gate resistor added to the drive MOSFET to slow down the switching speed. The drive circuit for mesh-type piezoelectric micro-pumps is similar. The control circuit (e.g., timer) for all types of atomizers should be simple and reliable. If an MCU is used, proper reset and watchdog design are essential. Due to the compact size of the device, meeting requirements relies primarily on circuit optimization and component selection.
