The core of EMC protection for blood glucose meters is protecting the measurement channel. The connection between the measurement contacts of the test strip slot and the signal amplification circuit should be extremely short, and a guard ring structure may be necessary. The measurement operational amplifier should be a low-bias-current, low-noise model, and its feedback resistor and integrating capacitor should have high stability. ESD protection devices (e.g., ESD5V0D3, choose a low-leakage-current model) can be placed near the measurement contacts to discharge operational static electricity, but their impact on measurement accuracy must be considered. The analog reference voltage (Vref) of the main control MCU must be stable. Digital high-speed traces should be kept away from the analog measurement area on the entire PCB.
