Determining the optimal installation location for the DTU ferrite core requires analysis of the noise source and transmission path. For power line noise, the ferrite core should be installed at the power inlet, within 5cm of the connector. For signal line crosstalk, the ferrite core should be placed close to the interference source or sensitive receiver. Ferrite core selection: Nickel-zinc ferrite (initial permeability 100-1000) is used for high-frequency noise, and manganese-zinc ferrite (initial permeability 2000-10000) is used for low-frequency noise. During installation, the cable should be wound 2-3 turns around the ferrite core to increase inductance. Near-field probe testing should show an optimized noise attenuation greater than 10dB. The optimal location can improve the ferrite core's suppression efficiency by 30%.
