How can the onboard filter of a power DTU be adapted to high-voltage power access?

The onboard filter for DTU high-voltage access must meet high-voltage and surge protection requirements. A 14D511K varistor (510V) and a 2R600L-8×6 gas discharge tube are deployed at the high-voltage input to absorb surges. The filter section uses a π-type network, employing a PWRA6045R6R8M0T power inductor (rated current 6A) and two safety capacitors (0.47μF). In the PCB layout, the high-voltage area maintains a creepage distance of at least 8mm from other circuits and uses slotted isolation. The filter circuit is located close to the connector, with lead widths of at least 2mm. Surge testing (IEC61000-4-5, ±4kV) and withstand voltage testing (2000VAC/60s) ensures compatibility with high-voltage environments.
