Onboard filtering for high-voltage applications requires consideration of high voltage, high current, and insulation requirements. The design combines isolation and filtering. The high-voltage input side uses a CMZ7060A-701T common-mode inductor (700μH/10A) paired with a CY-Y1-222K Y capacitor (2.2nF/250V). The sampling signal is isolated by an ISO7240C isolation amplifier (3kVrms), followed by a second-order active filter with a cutoff frequency of 2kHz. PCB design: 20mm slots are created between the high-voltage and low-voltage areas, filled with insulating adhesive. High-voltage traces are 2.5mm wide (capacitance 10A) and spaced more than 15mm apart from low-voltage traces. This design allows the onboard filter to withstand 600V/10A of high voltage, with an isolation withstand voltage of 3000Vrms and a common-mode rejection ratio greater than 100dB, meeting the requirements of the IEC 61850-3 power standard.
