The PMS must meet the radiated immunity (RS) requirements of IEC 61000-4-3 standard, i.e., operate normally in the 80MHz-1GHz frequency band at a field strength of 3V/m or 10V/m. Compliance depends on good shielding, filtering, and circuit design. Chassis shielding is crucial: use a conductive, continuous metal chassis with gap lengths less than λ/20 (less than 60cm for 80MHz), and use conductive pads if necessary. Display screens and indicator light openings on the panel should be shielded with conductive glass or metal mesh. All incoming and outgoing cables are weak points in the shielding and must be filtered: power lines should enter through feedthrough capacitors or filtered connectors; signal lines should enter through filtered interface circuits. The internal PCB layout should avoid long traces acting as antennas; sensitive circuits can be covered with local shielding covers. For critical signal lines such as reset and interrupt, a PBZ1005B-501Z0T ferrite bead should be connected in series or a small capacitor in parallel. On the software side, a watchdog timer and status self-test should be added. During pre-testing, a radiated immunity testing system can be used to scan and locate weak frequencies for targeted reinforcement. Through system design, PMS can stably pass the 10V/m RS test and operate reliably in complex electromagnetic fields.
