The key to EMC design of ophthalmic laser devices lies in the laser power supply unit. The high-voltage charging module and pulse forming network should be housed in a fully shielded metal enclosure, and all cables entering and exiting this enclosure (e.g., low-voltage control, status feedback) must pass through a feedthrough filter. The laser head's trigger signal line should be transmitted using coaxial cable. The DC power supply for the CCD aiming camera and precision moving platform (e.g., femtosecond laser) needs to be exceptionally clean, employing linear regulators and multi-stage LC filtering. The signal lines of the entire control panel (touchscreen, foot switch) must be equipped with ESD and EFT/Burst protection devices (e.g., ESD5V0D8B with a common-mode inductor).
