What is the power frequency magnetic field immunity level of a data center switch?

Data center switch power frequency magnetic field immunity testing is conducted according to IEC 61000-4-8 standard, applicable to continuous magnetic fields of 50Hz/60Hz and short-duration magnetic fields of 1-3s. General environment requirements are 1A/m (Level 1), industrial environment requirements are 3A/m (Level 2), substation and heavy industry requirements are 10A/m (Level 3), and special requirements for switching stations are 30A/m (Level 4). Data centers typically meet the Level 3 10A/m requirement. Power frequency magnetic fields are mainly coupled through loop induction; shielded enclosures can provide 20-30dB attenuation. Audiotech recommends adding a high-permeability alloy shielding sheet near the Hall element to minimize the PCB's high-current loop area. Actual measurements show zero decrease in switching throughput under a 10A/m magnetic field.
