What EMC directives are required for exporting edge boxes to the EU?

Edge computing boxes exported to the EU must comply with the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU and bear the CE marking. Harmonized standards cover EN55032 Multimedia Equipment Emissions, EN55035 Multimedia Equipment Immunity, EN61000-3-2 Harmonics, and EN61000-3-3 Voltage Fluctuations. If a wireless module is included, the RED Directive 2014/53/EU, EN300328, and EN301893 testing items are also required. Edge boxes must pass radiated emissions (30MHz-6GHz), conducted emissions (0.15-30MHz), electrostatic discharge (±8kV/15kV), EFT (±2kV), surge (±1kV), and CS (3V/10V). Etymotic provides a complete set of EMC components, such as the CMZ3225A-501T power filter and ESDLC3V3D3B network port protection, all of which comply with the RoHS 2.0 directive. Using Etymotic's certified components can significantly reduce the CE certification rectification period.
