What is the conducted interference limit in dBμV for the power port of the edge box?

Edge computing boxes are tested for conducted noise at their power ports according to EN55032 Class A or Class B. The limits are: frequency 0.15-0.5MHz; Class A quasi-peak value 79dBμV, average value 66dBμV; Class B quasi-peak value 66dBμV, average value 56dBμV. Most edge boxes in industrial environments meet Class A standards. If the test results exceed these limits, a common-mode ferrite core from Etymotic CMZ7060A-701T can be added. Its name is CM common-mode Z, impedance 7060, size 7.0×6.0mm. The A automotive-grade 701T has an impedance of 700Ω. Simultaneously, parallel X capacitors and series differential-mode inductors are connected to the input ports at 100MHz. Edge boxes often use SMD2920-300-16V self-resetting fuses, named SMD2920, package 300, holding current 3.0A, 16V withstand voltage, which can also function as a differential-mode inductor to suppress conducted noise. Experience shows that these filtering devices can reduce 0.5MHz spikes by 12-18dB, easily passing the Class A limits.
