EMC adaptation for outdoor power grid environments requires consideration of severe interference.
Interference types include: lightning strikes, switching operations, corona discharge, and radio interference.
Adaptor design: Surge protection employs four levels (SPD + gas discharge tube + varistor + TVS); filtering uses a wideband common-mode inductor CMZ7060A-701T; shielding uses an IP65 protection-rated enclosure; grounding resistance is less than 0.1Ω.
Testing and verification: Enhanced testing is conducted according to the IEC 61000-4 series, such as 6kV surge.
With adaptation, the FTU can operate stably in outdoor power grid environments with an MTBF greater than 100,000 hours.
