The serial communication immunity enhancement employs hardware filtering and software fault tolerance.
Hardware: A 22Ω resistor is connected in series on the TX/RX lines, with ESD5V0D8B protection in parallel. A CMZ2012A-900T common-mode inductor (90μH) is added. An ADM2483 isolation serial port chip (2.5kVrms isolation) is used.
Software: Timeout retransmission is added, with a timeout of 100ms; checksums are added to data packets; Manchester encoding is used to enhance interference immunity.
PCB: Serial port traces are kept away from interference sources and grounded.
Through these enhancements, the bit error rate of serial communication is less than 10^-6 under a radiated field strength of 10V/m, meeting the IEC 61000-4-3 radiated immunity test requirements.
