Does an unreasonable ground plane segmentation on the BMS control board increase common-mode radiated interference?

Improper ground plane segmentation is a common cause of increased common-mode radiated interference. Inappropriate segmentation hinders the low-impedance return of common-mode current, forcing the return path to detour and form large radiated loops. It also causes inconsistent ground potentials, driving common-mode currents in cables. The optimization principle is to use a complete, continuous ground plane for high-frequency circuits. If analog and digital ground must be segmented, they should be connected at a single point using a ferrite bead or a 0-ohm resistor, typically at the power input or below the ADC. Ensure that the ground terminals of all filter capacitors are directly connected to a complete ground plane. Good ground plane design is fundamental to suppressing common-mode radiation.
