During high-frequency operations, the core current transients and DDR clock harmonics of the industrial AI edge gateway AI module may increase radiated emissions, typically in the 1-3GHz frequency band. Countermeasures include:
1. Connecting PBZ1608E600Z0T ferrite beads in series with each phase of the AI core power supply to suppress switching noise.
2. Adding a CMZ2012A-900T common-mode filter to the DDR4 clock line to reduce common-mode radiation.
3. Maintaining a distance of less than 5mm between the AI module's metal shield and the PCB ground via, and ensuring the shield's grounding impedance is less than 5mΩ.
4. Using a conductive paint-coated plastic shell with a surface resistance of less than 0.5Ω/□.
Measured radiated emission increase under full load compared to no load is less than 2dB, still meeting the EN55032 Class B limit.
