Can the AI modules of an industrial AI edge gateway be plugged in to expand computing power?

The industrial AI edge gateway supports expansion of AI accelerator cards via M.2 MXM slots. These pluggable modules face hot-swapping surges and ESD risks. The slot power pins should be equipped with a TVS P4SMF 5.0A and connected in series with a self-resetting fuse (SMD2920-050-60V). The PCIe data cable of the SMD2920-050-60V slot requires an ESD diode array (ESD0524P), with a 0.5V turn-off voltage of 5.0V and a 0.8pF junction capacitance across four channels. Simultaneously, the module casing is connected to the housing with low resistance via conductive springs. Actual testing showed no damage after 20,000 insertion/removal cycles with ESD ±15kV and a 100% module recognition rate.
