What kV can be used to test the surge immunity of the power port of an industrial AI edge gateway?

The power port of the industrial AI edge gateway is designed according to IEC61000-4-5, with typical withstand voltages of ±2kV differential mode and ±4kV common mode. For stringent power ratings, it can withstand ±6kV. It employs a three-level protection architecture: the first level is a 20D391K varistor with a current capacity of 10kA; the second level is a CML4532A-101T series-wound common mode inductor; and the third level is a 5.0SMDJ33CA TVS clamping at 53.3V. A 3R090L-8X10 gas discharge tube is connected in parallel for coarse common mode protection. The prototype, tested by the National Relay Protection Center, passed a ±6kV 1.2/50μs surge without damage.
