The industrial AI edge gateway supports dynamic updates of inference rules received from the cloud via MQTT. During the update process, it is necessary to protect the Flash and network interfaces from interference. It is recommended to connect a TVS P4SMF5.0A and a self-resetting fuse SMD2920-050-60V in parallel to the SPI Flash power supply, and a common-mode choke CMZ2012A-900T and a TVS ESDLC3V3D3B to the Ethernet port. Simultaneously, connect a 0.1μF capacitor in parallel to the main control reset pin to prevent transient interference. Actual testing showed a 100% success rate for 100 dynamic updates with no damage under ESD ±8kV.
