The industrial AI edge gateway deployed next to the inverter cabinet may experience strong electromagnetic fields coupling to the video input interface, leading to a decrease in AI inference accuracy. Tests showed that when the inverter output current was 100A, the AI recognition accuracy of the unprotected gateway dropped from 99.2% to 91.5%. The corrective measures were:
1. Adding a common-mode filter (CMZ20212A-900T) in series at the camera's MIPI interface;
2. Adding an LC filter inductor (CML3225A-101T) to the 1.8V power supply for the AI core;
3. Grounding the shielding layer of all external I/O cables at both ends and installing ferrite cores (CMZ7060A-701T).
After on-site testing and protection, the AI inference accuracy recovered to 98.7%, a decrease of only 0.5%.
