
The industrial AI edge gateway's network port supports VLAN segmentation to achieve service isolation. To ensure that the VLAN switch chip is not affected by network port surge interference, a common-mode inductor CMZ2012A-900T needs to be added between the PHY and RJ45, and the center tap of the transformer needs to be connected to signal ground through a 1kV capacitor. At the same time, the switch core is powered by 1.1V, with a series ferrite bead PBZ1608E600Z0T and a 4.7μF capacitor for filtering. Actual testing showed no degradation in VLAN forwarding performance and a 0% packet loss rate under an IEC61000-4-5 1kV surge.
