The analog signal lines and control buses connecting sensors or modules inside the device are highly sensitive to noise. The protection solution must employ low-capacitance ESD protection devices, whose line capacitance must be significantly lower than the capacitive reactance of the signal itself, to avoid impacting high-precision analog signals or digital communication waveforms. For communication lines such as CAN buses, automotive-grade high-reliability ESD protection devices can be selected. Their high withstand voltage and low capacitance characteristics align with the stringent requirements of medical equipment. Additionally, ferrite beads can be used to filter high-frequency noise on the lines, achieving an integrated design of interference filtering and transient protection.
