Intelligent power control (PAC) controllers must comply with a series of national and international EMC standards. International standards include: IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge), IEC 61000-4-6 (Conducted Immunity), IEC 61000-4-8 (Power Frequency Magnetic Fields), etc. Emission standards include CISPR 11/32 (Industrial/Information Technology Equipment).
National standards correspond to GB/T 17626 series and GB 4824/9254. In addition, industry standards such as IEC 61800-3 (Variable Speed Electrical Drives) may also be applicable. When designing a PAC, the standard level must be selected according to the target market. Industrial environments typically require a severity level (such as Class A). Testing must be conducted in an accredited laboratory to ensure product certification.
