Ensuring cross-regional EMC for power line carrier PLCs requires consideration of long-distance transmission and coupling between different transformers. A high-power carrier transmitter (10W output power) and a sensitive receiver (-100dBm sensitivity) are used. For coupling, a combination of capacitive and inductive coupling is employed to accommodate different impedances. Bandpass filters are deployed to suppress inter-transformer noise. Impedance matching networks optimize transmission efficiency. In actual testing, cross-regional communication distances can reach 500 meters with a bit error rate below 10^-5. Ensuring cross-regional EMC allows the system to be applied to a wider range of applications, such as smart grids.
