When handling power line carrier PLC power cable shielding, it is crucial to select appropriate shielding type and termination method. Shielding type selection: Use braided shielding (coverage of over 85%) for high-frequency noise and foil shielding for low-frequency noise. Termination should use shielding clips or connector metal shells, crimped 360 degrees to ensure shielding continuity. Shielding grounding: Single-end grounding avoids ground loops, while double-end grounding reduces high-frequency impedance. Use filter connectors or sealing gaskets at cable entry points. During testing, radiated emission tests were performed, comparing the results before and after shielding treatment; radiation decreased by 20dB. Proper handling can suppress cable radiation and conducted noise, improving system EMC performance.
