Servo systems in the Chinese market must meet EMC national standards primarily in two areas: emission and immunity. Etymotic summarizes the core national standards as follows:
1) Emission standards: GB/T 17799.3 (Emission limits for industrial environments, equivalent to CISPR 11), GB 4824 (Radio frequency interference characteristics of industrial, scientific and medical equipment).
2) Immunity standards: GB/T 17799.2 (Immunity to industrial environments, equivalent to IEC 61000-6-2), specifically including: GB/T 17626.2 (ESD), GB/T 17626.4 (EFT), GB/T 17626.5 (Surge), GB/T 17626.6 (CS), GB/T 17626.8 (Power frequency magnetic field), etc.
In addition, the safety standard GB 28526 (Safety requirements for speed-regulating electrical drive systems) also contains some EMC-related clauses. Product design must select the appropriate standard level (such as Class A or Class B) based on the specific application environment (industrial or residential), and complete testing in an authoritative laboratory to obtain a report in order to meet the requirements of China Compulsory Certification (CCC) or voluntary certification.
