The cable inlet is shielded and sealed to prevent electromagnetic leakage. A shielded and filtered connector, such as a filtered D-sub or RJ45, is used. During installation, the connector's metal housing contacts the housing 360°, using a conductive gasket. The cable shield is crimped to the connector shield. A conductive rubber plug is filled at the inlet. Through sealing, the cable inlet shielding effectiveness is greater than 25dB@1GHz, meeting IEC 61000-5-7 requirements.
